Margo Dydek...nice stats!

I am not a huge fan of the WNBA but when I see a picture like this I have to research some things.

From Florida's Local6 Web site:
"The New York Liberty's Becky Hammon, in front, guards the Connecticut Sun's 7-foot-two-inch center Margo Dydek, of Poland, during the second half of their WNBA game at Madison Square Garden in New York Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005. (AP Photo/Gregory Bull)"

From the WNBA web site:
Career Highlights
  • Has led the league in blocked shots for five consecutive years
  • Scored the 1st triple-double in Starzz history, the 2nd n the WNBA, with 12 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocked shots vs Orlando
  • Blocked a career and WNBA record 10 shots on June 7, 2001
  • Led the league in blocked shots for the fourth consecutive year, averaging 3.53 bpg
  • Became first player in the WNBA to record 200 blocks during the 2000 season
At 7 foot 2 you better be setting blocking records!! And Becky deserves an award just for attempting to keep Margo out of the lane.
