Paging Dr. House.

Dr. Greg House will be back this fall with all new episodes starting on September 13th. That's 5 days from today! Let the countdown begin!!

PBS had a show on Saturday nights (this is a few months ago) starring Hugh Laurie and Stephen Fry. It was a 2-man sketch comedy from Brittan...cause that's where he's from. Very funny. Very talented. The scenes in Dr. House where Hugh is playing the piano is relly him playing.

Some fun from www.imdb.com:

  • "Attended the Dragon School, a renowned British "public" college preparatory school located in Oxford, England. Also attended by actress Emma Watson and tennis player Tim Henman."
  • "Won the 1977 National Junior Championship for rowing (coxed pair). In the same year, he and his rowing partner represented England in the World Junior Championship for rowing where they finished fourth place."
  • "His father, William George Ranald Mundell, and mother, Patricia, are both of Scottish descent."
  • "His father won an Olympic gold medal for coxless pairs in the 1948 Games. Hugh also had a promising career as an oarsman, but he was forced to give it up while at Cambridge when he contracted glandular fever (mononucleosis). His brother was also an oarsman."
  • "He is also an accomplished piano player"
