More crap in politics!

Now there is a senator from New York who wants to "ban people from using an MP3 player, cell phone, Blackberry or any other electronic device while crossing the street in either New York City or Buffalo."

Here's the part that gets me going: "...Sen. Carl Kruger is proposing the ban in response to two recent pedestrian deaths in his district, including a 23-year-old man who was struck and killed last month while listening to his iPod..."

According to my sources New York City has a population of 8.1 million and Buffalo has aprox. 292,648. So, 2 people recently die (only one of which was using an iPod) and ONE man wants to harass over 8.3 MILLION people for it?!? Am I the only one with a clue here?!

Whenever they make decisions like this...it cracks me up! That's like saying someone got attacked by a dog because of the cologne he/she was wearing...and then someone banning that brand of cologne!!! WTF? Idiots > No One
