Simple computer upgrade = MORE RAM!

I work on people's computers sometimes. More than I like at times. One old question I get from people is "how can I make it faster?"

I can't make this more simple...

IF YOU ARE RUNNING WINDOWS XP YOU NEED MORE RAM THAN 512 MEGS! PLEASE, FOR THE LOVE OF THE DEITY OF YOUR CHOICE, INSTALL AT LEAST 2 GIGS OF MEMORY!!

With that being saidI will now be bombarded with the questions, "What's the difference between ram and memory? Will that delete all my files if I add more memory?"

I'm just going to stop before I explode.
