LG series Verizon camera phone quick fix

I have an LG VX7000 camera-phone from Verizon. I noticed that the pictures I took with it were not being displayed in the gallery. They just showed as a white or blank picture. However emailing the pic worked just fine. I took the phone to the service dept and they told me that this is a "normal" problem they are aware of but there is not real fix for it.

1. Remove the battery from the back of the phone.
2. Count to 5.
3. Put the battery back on.
4. Fixed. The "missing" pictures are there.

This is the official Verizon method to correct the problem.
